The Foo Fighters are undoubtedly my favourite band in the history of ever, I've no doubt that they will continue to be until the day I die, their music is a massive inspiration for me, and in particular, Project Mauser.

After drawing Nene yesterday (by the way, for anyone who's wondering Nene's name is pronounced "Nean", like "Mean", not "Nini"... X3) I just had to draw her again, but I also wanted to draw Rena (Pronounced Ree-Nah. XD) too, Nene's love.

I don't wanna be too expositional with the story, but Rena's Naive and Nene is Lonely, and together they race around the post-appocolyptic world.

I really like how this turned out, it's probably the first(?) time I've drawn Nene looking vulnerable... When I first created her she was just 110 percent badass, but I just didn't really take to her that way, she wasn't likable, so I worked on her backstory, (which shall be kept hidden because I'm a Big Teaser *Lolz Saxon Reference!*) and created a fragile side to her... She's still a total badass though! XD

God I love Rena's expression, she just looks so cute with her eyes closed like that... Her eyes are Blue by the way!
I really love how Nene's runnung her hand through Rena's hair, just the thought of running your hand through the hair of the person you love seems so... Romantic... D-dammit, I'm NOT a Romantic, f-FOR REAL! (IsForeverAlone XD)

A-anyway, back on topic, god I don't half waffle on in these...
*Ahem* The whole theme of this piece is that, basically, Nene loves Rena, but Rena doesn't know it because she's too naive, she just thinks Nene likes her as a friend... Poor Nene... Will she ever reveal her true feelings??? Find out....... Uh.... Some day! XD

I picked the title because the song seemed to fit this piece, it's times like these, when the one you love is close, you wish would last forever.

This is very sketchy, but I like it, the imperfections are a sort of metaphor for life, y'know?
Again, for the green in Nene's jacket I had to mix purple and light green markers... Dammit, more n' more are dying every time I draw... TT^TT
Also, this scanned slightly duller than it actually is... My scanner is a finicky bugger...

By the way, it's really hard to tell, but they're both wearing Rock shirts, Rena is wearing a Foo Fighters shirt, and Nene a Velvet Revolver shirt!
