A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

Quinn Shara, a Force-sensitive teenager, struggles with the monotony of life on a backwater world, she craves a greater meaning in life as the rest of the Galaxy passes her by, she may well find that meaning however, as she crosses paths with Isabelle Devon, the leader of a fledgling rebel group. Will the ambitious young girl seize the opportunity to finally take charge of her destiny, and pursue her dream of becoming a Jedi?

Twenty-third page of my Star Wars OC AU fan-comic- thingy!

The last tiny panel of the previous page transfers the focus back to Isabelle and her group as they prepare for the day ahead, a day that will make or brake their rebellious ambitions, U'ric is optimistic about their prospects, Hakiim is sure of their success, and Zomori is eager for action, though Isabelle herself is anxious, the weight of the day ahead heavy on her shoulders, along with her own feelings regarding the path of rebellion, a path she must walk out of necessity, not choice... In some small part their current situation is still sinking in for her, the transition from an aid organisation into a rebel cell and the responsibility that brings threaten to overwhelm her as she replays in her head the events that led them the where they are now...

Funny story, the Tie Fighter in the first panel, the one with the sensor dish... It didn't have that in the previous page... Because I am dumb and forgot it... But I edited it (special editions anyone? No...?), so now it does. The reason for that dish is the gas giant Da'hren orbits, it's clouds are capable of hiding ships from all but certain specialised sensors, it's not really relevant to the current plot, and more for world building.

It's nice to see Isabelle and her group again, I'm enjoying the transitions back and forth between Quinn and Izzy, thank Slade for that, it keeps things fresh, and makes it easier to set up later scenes than if it just followed one character constantly, or told it from a single perspective. It's also fun to draw these characters again, I love Isabelle because she's a good person in a crappy situation, she's trying her best, but it gets to her... U'ric is fun, and I've noticed Bothans feature quite a bit in this, which is cool, they're pretty interesting, by the way, U'ric is almost ALWAYS smoking, probably the only time when he doesn't is when Orchid's around in later stories. Hakiim is always fun to portray, and Duros are just cool in general, his skin looks a lot lighter here, but it's the setting, the morning sun, the previous page with him was set during the evening, and he was in his ship. ;w; And what can be said about Zomori, he's a hulking Zabrak badass.

I'm really looking forward to doing the rest of this comic, hopefully picking up the pace, I'm really eager to get into more action! Anyway, as always I hope ya'll enjoy, and as ever feedback is always greatly appreciated!
